No. B&M Veteran Homes is a private pay community and does not accept VA housing vouchers, HUD-VASH, or other government housing assistance programs. Please contact us to discuss private pay arrangements.

What are the house rules?

Residents are expected to treat all community members with dignity and respect, maintain cleanliness in their rooms and common areas, observe quiet hours (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM), comply with the 9:00 PM curfew (unless approved), follow the no-weapons and no-illegal-drugs policy, and smoke only in designated outdoor areas. Violation of any rule may result in immediate removal from the program.

Do I need to be currently homeless to qualify?

No. While we prioritize veterans experiencing housing instability, we also accept veterans who are currently housed but seeking a more stable, structured transitional living option. All situations are reviewed individually.

What discharge status is required?

Accepted Answer

We primarily serve veterans with Honorable or General (Under Honorable Conditions) discharges. Veterans with Other Than Honorable or Dishonorable discharges are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us to discuss your situation.

Can I bring my belongings and personal items?

Yes. Our units are your home during your stay. You are welcome to bring personal belongings and make your space comfortable. We can discuss specific details about what is included in each unit when you speak with our team.

Our team can connect you with community resources including VA services, healthcare referrals, employment assistance, and transportation resources. While we are a private pay community, we are happy to help residents navigate available support services.

How long is the transitional housing program?

Our at-risk youth program is a 12–24 month transitional housing program. The length of stay is determined based on individual progress, goals, and availability. The goal is to help each resident build the skills and stability needed to transition to independent living.
