Eligibility

Who Qualifies?

You May Qualify If You Are…

  • Honorably discharged U.S. military veterans
  • Veterans with a General (Under Honorable Conditions) discharge
  • Veterans experiencing housing instability or homelessness
  • Veterans transitioning out of shelters or transitional housing
  • Veterans referred by VA social workers, VSOs, or HUD-VASH
  • Veterans seeking stable, long-term independent living
  • Veterans with physical or mental health needs (case-by-case)
  • Self-referrals are accepted — no case manager required

Current Limitations

  • Individuals with no military service history
  • Veterans with a Dishonorable discharge (case-by-case review)
  • Applicants who require 24/7 skilled nursing or medical care

How It Works

The Admissions Process

Initial Inquiry

Contact us by phone, email, or through our online application to express interest and ask any questions about availability and eligibility.

Referral or Self-Referral Submission

A referral source (VA social worker, case manager, VSO) or the veteran themselves submits basic information for our team to review.

Eligibility Review

Our team reviews the submitted information to determine eligibility and current availability. We contact you directly with next steps.

04

Welcome Home

Once approved and a unit is available, we complete the move-in process and welcome you into the B&M Veteran Homes community.
